Okay all, we're going to play a game. A game of survival. Those who fail to deceive will be discovered, those who fail to discover shall be deceived. Adaption is the ability to conform to one's environment in order to ensure their future. Your character's beginnings, where they come from, and possibly even who they are not significant. All that matters is the present, is adjusting. For, unless this is accomplished, your character will die. Thus, I advice making three at least. For, in the impeccably small town of Sentinel isolated from society by leagues, there is a tradition. Once abolished, now resurrected in secret. People are being sacrificed to an ancient God. This RP is sort of like a game of cat and mouse, however your role must remain secret until it is revealed. If your character is exposed or killed you must create a new one. This will help develop character dynamics. Bluntly summed: This RP is a survival game. You pick to pursue a life of normality or that of a hunter. The goal of the hunter is to sacrifice, the goal of the average Joe is to stay alive and expose as many hunters as they can. Ex. A is trying to murder B, B gets away and A is exposed. If B gets away safely B is victor and A is 'penalized', sent to jail and the creator must spawn a new character. However, if B didn't get away A's secret is safe. Although the others RP participants know the characters do not and A is allowed to stay in the game unless the creator wishes a clean slate. So, with that being said. Pick your poison and happy hunting.

It seems well enough explained, but seeing as though we will have to indulge in the plot, I'm a bit confused as to where to start. Its nothing close to a common theme, so I can't deny that I'm confused. I understand the idea-I just don't know how we would get it goin'. I would love to make a character that could join in on this though.

lol To be honest I never considered a 'start'. Just unleash your characters and play the game. Like a regular sport; except it doesn't matter how well you play, your goal is just to win. If you're inquiring about the exposition I can easily compensate. It's just a dusty town alienated from all society, the only sign of outside civilization is the highway on the eastern side of town, usually lifeless. That's really all I have for a beginning. Your goals and your 'starting points' I suppose, vary with your goal. After creation your only concern is either to seek or to survive. That's it. If I haven't helped please clarify your question. I'm a bit confused as to what you're asking in general x=

Sure, if you'd like xD Just keep in mind it's a small town. So no ultra super walmarts or mall complexes. If you can keep to the exposition and don't screw around (putting in the terminator or alien shiz like that) most anything is acceptable =D One of my kids eats lizards on the highway and has a hat with deer antlers~

Right...so all we have to do is create a character and either try to persecute someone else or avoid being persecuted...?

Kill, be killed,or expose the killer... Epic XD -------- Chocolate lids fluttered open, allowing the once hidden hazel eyes to view the surroundings. In front of the eyes was a metal bar. Startled, the female to whom the eyes belonged shot up and away from the possibly threatening item only to find it was a barstool. The red velvet cushion was faded and torn to reveal the yellow cushion underneath and the metal base was rusting at the blots. She stood and further inspection of the dusty, stuffy room indicated to the raven-haired beauty that she was in a very abandoned bar. There were dust covered bottles behind the counter on the floor was a bare bit of wood where she had just been laying. She frowned and bit her lower lip, "Well this is great..."

Alrighty then... ~~~ As the sun began to rise and cast a glow onto the town, a lone figure under a decrepit bridge awoke at the same time. In opening them, the male's eyes were a startling shade of bright gold. Stretching out his aching muscles, he slowly moved away from under the bridge and scanned the area. Seeing absolutely nothing but dying grass and an empty waterway, he yawned and ran a hand through ebony locks. Once he was fully awake, the young male picked up his fallen cap and after replacing it back on his head, headed deeper into the city thinking, 'I wonder if there's any food around here...'

Julian jumped over the counter, her stomach had begun to growl and she needed food. Bars usually had some quick snacks; nuts, crackers, and the like... perhaps the previous inhabitants had been kind enough to leave some behind. She opened a cabinet, glasses. Another, Margarita mixers. And a third, the charm. There in the cabinet was a 1 pound bag of trail-mix. She smiled to herself, pulled the bag out, closed the cabinet, and hopped the counter again. Julian yanked open the doorand stepped outside. the glow of the morning sun warmed her brown skin as she sat on the sidewalk, opened her bag, and began eating. A figure in the corner of her eye caught her attention and she turned to look.

Having rounded the corner of an old motel that seemed to be withering away, Trey noticed a lone female figure sitting on the sidewalk. Absentmindedly, he brought up a hand and rubbed his chin in thought. He had previously done research on these sort of things, but the memory had faded with time from lack of use. 'I wonder...is she...?' Deciding to take the risk, Trey put a big smile on his face and unashamedly approached the girl.

Julian smiled, revealing pearly white teeth, "Good... um..." She looked at the sky, uncertain of the time, and decided to stick with, "morning. " She held out the Trail-mix bag to the new-comer. "Do you want some?"

Trey's grin was even bigger than the girl's. "Good morning to you too." He stood in front of her, "I should reply yes; I am quite famished..." Reaching out his hand, he hesitatingly scooped up a palmful. "I believe I should thank you now," he smiled at her.

Julian continued smiling, "You're welcom. You seem nervous." and a little strange but she couldn't quite pin down what would make him nervous. Waking up in a strange place with no knowlage of how you got there... okay. Now she got it. But maybe he knew why they were there. "Any idea what we're doing here?" She patted a bronzed hand on the ground next to her, inviting the male to sit. "My name's Julian by the way."

"I am Trey. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," the brunet responded and flashed another wide grin. He then sat down beside the female; popping a nut into his mouth and chewing on it. 'She seems...different from the others I have associated myself with. This place is unlike home. Perhaps she knows something about this...' Trey shot her a glance, "Do you mind if I ask you something...?"
