Jaden awoke from his nightmare from the sudden nudge and Josu's yelling. As he looked at her, he still saw the crying girl, then he came to his senses and looked at her with annoyance. "That any way to wake somebody!" He stood up and faced the clock, then he felt embarrassed, he WAS late. "Eh...sorry." He stopped at those words, remembering his dream. He faced her with a rather dismayed face, then he gave a weak smile, "So, who started complaining first, Malin or Tallia?"

Josu looked blankly at Jaden, "It was Tallia. Not that it matters much. Come, we are half an hour behind Master Drasoft and her Padawan." Josu turned to walk out the door then stopped in the frame, looking back at Jaden. Why did she have this fire in her chest right now? Josu wanted to pin it up to rage, but did rage make you feal more... well more? Realization crossed her face as she finnaly pin-pointed the feeling and she stormed out of the room, not entirely caring if Jaden fallowed or not. If he fallowed, she would train him. If he didn't, she would go to the council and ask for a Padawan transfer... if that was possible. It alll was in his hands. It always seemed to be that way.

Jaden hesitated for a second before running after Josu. Though Jaden was running, she was still gaining distance from him. She obviously didn't like seeing him. At the pace they'd been moving they quickly arrived at the Main Courtyard where Malin, Michael, and Tallia were waiting for them. Jaden gave a low chuckle to Malin to express his apologies. He moved toward Michael and threw an arm around him as he growled in his ear, "Why didn't you wake me dumbass!" Michael looked at him apologetically, "I tried, but you kept rolling over and mumbling in your sleep." Jaden released his hold on his neck and sighed. "Sorry...I was having a bad dream." Michael patted him on the back, "Its ok." He was excited to start his training. Jaden looked over at Josu, she was standing with Master Malin and Tallia. Jaden still had his dream fresh in thought. It was a reoccurring dream he often experienced once or twice a week. It was never plesent, now was it ever better. Jaden then thought about how times were in the old days when they all began their training as jedi, where now Josu was training him to become one again. Maybe this WAS for the best, maybe this could help bring them back together. Though, nothing would bring Drake back...

Tallia scoffed from her seat at the edge of the courtyard. "Finally the Princess is here!" The Zabrak adjusted herself from her lazy lounging to a strict seated positon, ready to watch the goings on. Josu stood next to Malin and waited.

Jaden turned to Tallia. This was the first time he talked to her since he got back, and as expected, she was still childish brat. "Yes Tallia, nice to see you too. Still got that piece o' shit lightsaber?" Jaden felt he had struck back at her, now it was on.

Tallia bristled. Nobody called her light-saber a piece of shit other then herself! "Yes I do, Jerk-wad! But at least I haven't killed any-" "Tallia, that is enough!!" Josu was angry, she knew what Tallia was going to say, but it wasn't her that spoke, it was Malin, and she was infuriated. "I want you to leave us Tallia, until you can control your temper." The Zabrak looked as if she was going to say something but she thought better of it, bowed respectfully, and went inside. Probably to read or watch from higher up. Josu sighed and released her stress, "Perhaps, Masted Drasoft, Jaden and Michael could do with the Code of the Jedi right now." Malin, who was rubbing her forehead nodded. "Yes, I agree full-heartedly."

Tallia's last comment was uncalled for, but she was right. Jaden let his anger exit his mind through deep breaths. "Heh, the Code of the Jedi, haven't heard that in a long time." He turned to Michael, "Hey, memorize what they're about to tell us. You'll do better if you do." He looked to Josu, she was stressed in just the first minutes of their training. "Well, Master, are you going to give us the short or the long version?" Jaden gave a warm smile, hoping to relieve some of her stress. --- "Alright, pay attention." Michael thought. He listened to Jaden's suggestion and readied his ears for Master Malin. He had heard of the Code before, but never knew what it was.

Josu shook her head, closed her eyes, and smiled. Jaden had asked the same question when they had been kids just learning the Code themselfes. There was only one version, according to Master Malin, and he knew it. It was just childishly cute to hear him ask that question again. Malin answered when it became apparent that Josu wouldn't, "There is only one version Jaden. Do you remember any of it?" Josu's head shot up as an idea came to her, "I say we quiz him." Anything to annoy him in the slightest. Josu looked at Malin who grinned and nodded at the 'great idea' and Josu turned to Jaden , "Okay, I will say part of a line from the Jedi Code and you will repeat it." Josu sat cross-legged, fallowed closely be Malin, and motioned for the padawans to fallow suit. "Now, Jaden; 'There is no emotion...'"

...There is Peace." Jaden replied with confidence, "There is no Ignorance..." Jaden was then challenging Josu. Meanwhile Michael listened to the Code and imprinted it on his memory.

Josu's brow furrowed. Jaden was the one being 'quizzed', not her, "There is knowledge. Something, it seems you may be lacking. I forgive you, though, you were out for a year." A smirk played on her face, and she continued before the Twiilek at her side could say anything, "There is no passion..."

"Ouch, that one hurt", Jaden thought, "Guess she's feeling more relaxed then." He smiled and continued with the quiz. "There is Serenity..." Though you don't always show it, he thought to himself to save him her undoubted wrath had he said that out loud. He stuffed out a laugh at the thought of it.

Josu realized just how contradictory she was acting, saying the code and yet, going against it to some degree. She sighed, and continued, "There is no Chaos..."

"...There is harmony." Though we never had a moment we didn't argue. Especially when is came to the location to spend our breaks. Jaden never won once, though, Josu did have good taste. He was glad, he could still remember the smile she carried with her at those times.

The red-head looked Jaden straight in the eye, something she had hope dto avoid as long as possible. This last bit she recited as more of a comfort to herself then as a continuation of the quiz that she was giving Jaden. "There is no death..." She told herself that every night, tried to convince herself that Drake was with her in some little way. Master Malin had said that as long as you remember the deceased that they stay with you and can help when you need them. She would have experiance of all people.

Jaden met Josu's eyes, this last part of the code did have meaning for both of them. Funny, to think I had been dead once. "...There is only the Force." There was silence for a moment. Jaden turned to Michael, "Catch that?" --- Michael stood straight and recited, "There is no emotion, there is Peace. There is no Ignorance, there is Knowledge. There is no Passion, there is Serenity. There is no Chaos, their is Harmony. There is no Death, there is only the Force." Michael exhaled as he had been holding his breath. He smiled widely and looked at the others.
